Recently the Drayo and Klein families took a trip to a local Christmas light display at Colonial Gardens in Spring City. It was very entertaining with both static and motion displays to music. Taking pictures was a challenge because of the light colors that all the Christmas lights. Stil, shots of the kids, many taken by Rebecca and Steve, are delightful. You can find them and one video HERE.
Family all together! And celebrating Josh's birthday
Rebecca and Steve invited the entire family for a gathering at their beautiful new house. Their hospitality provided a rare occasion for the entire family to be together in the same place. Timing also allowed the family to celebrate Joshua’s birthday, a few days early. Photos of the event are HERE, including a few shots of Joshua on his actual birthday; sushi for breakfast and opening some cool clothes he received as gifts. Thank you Rebecca and Steve for being such gracious hosts! And, Happy Birthday, Joshua! And, Happy Thanksgiving to all.
EXTRA! Late at night, experimenting with Squarespace’s new version, I found that I can now include links to YouTube videos in my Squarespace photo galleries. This is totally new. I’m testing a post of a short video of Josh FaceTiming Ohio at the end of the photo gallery linked above. There are some technical issues about keeping the video private on YT but still allowing it to be used/linked to here in Squarespace. I would appreciate if you would try the YT link and let me know if the video actually plays for you. If it works, I’ll be able to add videos going forward and, maybe, go back and add some videos retrospectively. Thanks.
God Bless Sadie on her First Communion
On May 29, 2021, Sadie celebrated her First Communion at St. Anne’s church in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Sadie looked angelic. She was very excited at the occasion. She celebrated with her family at the Desmond Hotel. Photos posted. Congratulations, Sadie!
God Bless Violet Marie and John Ronald III - Baptism
Today, Violet Marie Lego and John Ronald Lego III were baptized at St. Anne’s church in Phoenixville, PA. The ceremony was, of course, limited to just family as a result of the Covid-19 situation. The babies were delightful. They were as well-behaved as any parent could wish for. Mom and Dad were beaming with happiness for the two, new additions. Some photos are HERE. God bless and keep Violet Marie and John Ronald III.
Emma's First Holy Communion
Another sign that our grandchildren are growing up. Emma Rose celebrated her First Holy Communion this week. She was beautiful in her dress. Congratulations, Emma! God Bless and Keep you. Some photos are HERE.
Lily is 4! A celebration at the Carousel at Pottstown
With the arrival of Lily’s new little brother and sister, a full-blown birthday party had to be delayed until later in the month. But her family could not let her birthday pass without some celebration. The Carousel at Pottstown was chosen as the place, one of Lily’s personal favorites. Of course Lily spent a lot of time riding the carousel, especially on her favorite horse, the seahorse. It is the most spectacular of all of the hand-carved horses on the carousel. Great choice, Lily. Some pics are here and a rather long (11 min) video is below. Enjoy. Happy Birthday, Lily!
2020 Emma's Crafting Birthday Party at the "Y"
A novel idea for Emma’s birthday party, a crafting party at the Phoenixville YMCA. The party began with all partygoers beginning on their craft by painting some critical parts and some glueing. Then a break for the paint and glue to dry while everyone enjoyed some pizza and drinks…and some playtime. Then back to the finish everyone’s craft projects. The products? Some beautiful horses, including manes and saddles. Some pics are here, and a short video is below. Happy Birthday, Emma.
Happy Birthday, Sadie!! Lot's of birthdays this time of year.
Sadie had a nice, small party at home (see below) on her actual birthday but a more “active” party followed on the weekend with a pool party at the Goldfish Pool. A brief video is below and pictures are HERE.
Happy Birthday, Grace.
Grace bounced into the 2’s with a birthday party at BOUNCE. The kids had a great time. It seems Dad had a good time too. Some pics are here. And a short video is below. Photographing was difficult due to the low light in the facility.
