We went to Linvilla Orchards to go apple picking. Linvilla has a very large country store with all sorts of locally produced items (pickles, pies, jams, etc). The orchard has several varieties of apples, some of which I've never heard of. In a short time, we picked three large boxes of apples. Those apples resulted in some fine baking by Mike and me just eating the apples (lots of macintoshes). Apple cider donuts are always a hit. Lunch at the country club. Fall is here.
